The house

The mas was built in the eighteenth century around a farmyard and still reads as a group of buildings rather than one house: the main wing, a barn turned into two guest rooms, and a dovecote. The ochre lime render was renewed by hand in 2019 and goes from sand to rust with the weather.

The setting

Nine hectares of olives surround the house on dry-stone terraces, picked each November by a neighbour who presses the oil in the next valley. The hill village is 1.6 kilometres away on foot; the limestone ridge closes the view to the south.

How it is shown

Our Zürich office looks after Provence. Viewings are hosted on site by the advisor and the family's gardener, who has kept the olives for twenty years and will stay on if the new owner wishes.
